Why My Nurse Friend Exists

Hospital stays aren’t just about medications and test results. It’s about understanding what’s happening, knowing what questions to ask, and feeling supported and prepared to return home safely to heal. I finally felt like someone had the time to explain what was actually happening. When the doctor would come by to see my husband, I would always end the visit with more questions than answers. Having a nurse available to talk things through made everything feel more manageable ”

It was such a relief to know I could ask questions without feeling like I was bothering anyone. The explanations were clear, thoughtful, and helped me feel confident about next steps instead of constantly second-guessing.”

“My nurse knew all the right questions to ask before leaving the hospital after my surgery. She not only wrote everything down in a way I could understand but also made sure I knew what each prescription was for, and how to use the medical equipment I was sent home with. If it wasn’t for My Nurse Friend, I would have been completely lost!
